Cake designer Donna Corr started Corrs Cake Shop as Corrs Cakes from her home in 2008. Donna is completely self taught and from her love of baking discovered her natural ability for sugar craft and cake design. Corrs Cake Shop is based at 193 Rawlinson Street, Barrow-in-Furness, the shop is set out as a cake gallery with all occasions cakes on display. As well as beautiful cakes for all occasions Corrs Cake Shop also offers quality outside catering, Event management, Chair & Sash hire, Wedding favours, Venue design, Childrens party packages, Hen night parties & much more
Corrs Cake Shop offers beautiful and delicious freshly baked cakes for all occasions, They offer a wide variety of cake flavours and fillings from traditional chocolate or vanilla, to something a bit different like a white chocolate & champagne, cookies and cream or pink lemonade.
Chocolate and Sponge cakes with delicious fillings make an excellent dessert as well as a stunning centrepiece. Cakes are available in a whole array of sizes, styles, designs and shapes. Not only that, they offer Cup Cakes and individual table/gift Cakes and Cookies to provide even more choice. All of their cakes are individually designed and decorated by hand by Donna to create a stunning table centrepiece for your celebration.
Corrs Cake Shop also offers a free consultation service, during your consultation you will be discussing your needs and preferences with Donna. Bring along any ideas of your own that you would like to incorporated into the design of your cake.
Donna creates beautiful cakes for all occasions from Wedding and Civil Ceremony, Birthdays, Christenings and Anniversary. Novelty and themed cakes for both adults and children are also available.
Are you unavailable to pickup your custom made cake? Not a problem, they offer a free delivery service within the Barrow-in-Furness area. Delivery outside of Barrow is available at a small fee. Wouldnt it be great to have your cake delivered and setup at your venue? Well, they do that too!

Corr's cake shop has been published in The evening mail twice. The first time was for the grand opening and the second time Donna was ask to design and decorate a Christmas cake in the theme of Barrow football club, Which was photographed and filmed to raise money for charity. Cakes
* Please ask about portions sizes for all cakes to determine the size of cake you will need.
* Sponge and chocolate cakes do not have nuts as an ingredients unless stated but their may be
nut traces present. Our fruitcake does contain nuts and alcohol.
* Our cakes are made with vegetable fats and contain dairy products.
* Due to suppliers sometimes designs may have to be change slightly depending on what product are available at the time.
Wedding Cakes
* You will always be given written order confirmation. Please check it and notify us if anything is not correct.
Cake Storage and Shelf Life
* All cakes should be stored in a cool dark place on a flat sturdy surface.
* Never put cakes in the fridge other than fresh dairy cream cakes.
* Sponge, Chocolate and Carrot cakes ect.... will keep for one week after delivery.
* Fruitcake last perfectly well for months not years.
Orders
* We require 14 days notice (Occasionally 7) on all cakes ordered. Please order your wedding/occasion cakes as soon as you can to avoid disappointment.
* It is not possible to create exact specifications when modelling food, just a graphical
representation.
* If an inscription colour or any other choice is left un-selected on your order then we reserve the right to use our own discretion.
Payment
* £100.00 deposit is required to confirm your order for all wedding cakes, All other cakes require £20.00 deposit for cakes under £50.00 and £40.00 deposit for cakes over £50.00. The remaining balance is due at the cake viewing if your cake is being delivered or on the day of collection if your picking your cake up.
* We only accept cash.
Delivery
* We offer free delivery service within the barrow area. Deliveries outside of barrow are available for £5.00 start fee and £1.00 per mile after that.
Cancellation
* If you cancel your wedding cake order for any reason up to twenty one (21) days before your wedding date, the deposit (£100) is non-refundable. All other monies paid will be refunded within fourteen (14) working days.
* If your wedding cake order is cancelled less than twenty one (21) days from the designated wedding date, you shall receive a refund of 25% of anything paid over the £100 non refundable deposit.
* For all other cakes if you choose to cancel for what ever reason the deposit is non refundable. All other monies paid will be refunded within fourteen (14) working days.
Complaints
* Cakes must be checked on collection, The person who collects the cake is responsable for the cake and repair for accidents can not be made.
* Corrections and repairs to cakes, including inscription mistakes, can be corrected on the same day in most cases.
* The maximum refund we offer is the value of the cake and delivery. Further compensation is not available.
